I've been trying several affiliate marketing methods with my websites. I've tried Amazon and Lazada with no luck.
My readers don’t seem to like buying from Amazon because they largely come from the Philippines. Lazada tells me that my readers have bought several items on their site but their affiliate dashboard is very messy – I can’t even find how much I've earned so far!
Update: Lazada contacted me and I'm currently experimenting with their affiliate program.
Then I stumbled upon Zalora Philippines. They offer similar products to Lazada but use CJ for their affiliate program.
I've also tried Commission Junction before but Filipinos don’t seem to like ordering things abroad. Since Zalora operates locally, more of my readers are confident to buy from them.
Zalora also offers monthly discount coupons (FIVEX2 for September) that I give to my readers so they can enjoy up to 15% discount when they shop online for anything from a pair of shoes to a high end local smartphone.
Get 15% Off RM150 minimum spend! This September - Use Code FIVEX2
As of this writing, I've already made $60 after 3 weeks of having Zalora affiliate program on my blog. You can try them too and share your experience in the comments below.
Hi!
ReplyDeleteI am a Virtual Assistant and have previously performed review and content writing tasks for various clients in Elance in the past. Now, I want to try my hands on blogging and writing reviews. I am interested about your Zalora affiliate marketing post and would like to know how I can start. I hope you can help me on this since I love to write. Thanks in advance.
