Blogger’s Dashboard Receives a Well Deserved Update

Blogger is one of Google’s most used product. However, it’s also ironically one of the least updated in terms of features. This changes today as Blogger’s dashboard receives a slight change in appearance and function.

This is the updated Blogger Dashboard.

Users are now one click away to checking their blog’s posts, statistics and other settings. There’s a drop-down menu to choose one of the user’s blog or create a new one. Text colors have been adjusted to increase readability and the author’s name is now visible in the post editor.

These are just minor updates though and the Blogger team promises additional updates after receiving feedback.

Many Blogger users are happy about the update since it means Google hasn’t forgotten about the service and will likely continue supporting it in the future. This blog and my tech blog uses Blogger.
